Fireplaces CAD blocks
Fireplace CAD blocks for living room elevations: traditional fireplaces with a mantel or chimney breast, stone-clad and linear modern units, island and wall fireplaces with hoods, and suspended fireplaces hung from the ceiling in bowl, cone, oval and round shapes. Many run the full 102⅜″ (2600 mm) floor-to-ceiling height.
Every one downloads as a DWG or DXF in inches and millimeters, and as a PDF, PNG or SVG.
Designing, not drafting? These home furniture blocks also come as SVG vectors, PNG files with a transparent background and print-ready PDFs.

Frequently asked questions
How far must combustible trim stay from a fireplace opening?
The IRC keeps wood mantels and similar combustibles at least 6″ (152 mm) from the opening, and within 12″ (305 mm) of it they may project no more than 1/8″ for each inch of distance (R1001.11). Check the trim around the classic fireplace with mantel against that rule.
How tall must a chimney be above the roof?
At least 3′ (914 mm) above the point where it passes through the roof and 2′ (610 mm) higher than any part of the building within 10′ (3048 mm), the 3-2-10 rule of IRC R1003.9 for masonry chimneys. Factory-built chimneys follow their listing instead.
Can I use the suspended fireplaces in a US project?
As design references, yes: the suspended bowl fireplace and the suspended cone fireplace show the size and drop of a hanging unit. The product you install must be listed for US use, and its clearances and flue come from the manufacturer's instructions.
Can I get these fireplaces blocks as PNG or SVG?
Yes. Every block here also downloads as a PNG with a transparent background, an SVG vector and a PDF, from its own page, next to the DWG and DXF.
