What is a standard chair seat height?
Dining and desk chairs put the seat about 17–19″ (432–483 mm) off the floor, for tables 28–30″ (711–762 mm) high. Counter stools sit around 24″ (610 mm) and bar stools around 30″ (762 mm). The side chair front elevation is 33⅜″ (849 mm) high overall.

Why is the chair block wider than the chair?
Because the front and side elevations share one drawing. The Egg Chair block is 82¼″ (2088 mm) wide with both views, while its height, 43½″ (1104 mm), is the chair's own. Copy out the view you need if you only want one elevation.
Are there children's chairs?
Yes: the Egg Chair for Kids, the Panton Chair Junior and a kids' size view of the Globe Chair. They work in nursery, library and classroom elevations next to the adult versions, at their real size.
