Cars CAD blocks
Car CAD blocks for site plans, garages and elevations: generic sedans, hatchbacks and compact cars in plan, front and rear views, and named models such as the Volkswagen Golf, the Renault Clio and a four-view Mini Cooper (2004). Classic and sports cars, from the Shelby Cobra to the Porsche 911 Turbo (930), come with plan and elevations on one sheet.
Every one downloads as a DWG or DXF in inches and millimeters, and as a PDF, PNG or SVG.
Designing, not drafting? These vehicles blocks also come as SVG vectors, PNG files with a transparent background and print-ready PDFs.

Frequently asked questions
How long is an average car in plan?
Most sedans and hatchbacks are 14–16′ (4267–4877 mm) long and about 6′ (1829 mm) wide without mirrors. The plan blocks here run from 13′-10⅜″ to 14′-9⅛″ (4225–4500 mm) long, which fits a 9′ × 18′ (2743 × 5486 mm) stall with room at both ends.
What size garage do I need for one car?
A one-car garage is commonly 12′ × 20′ to 12′ × 22′ (3658 × 6096–6706 mm), behind a door 8′ or 9′ (2438–2743 mm) wide and 7′ (2134 mm) high. Drop the hatchback car or the sedan plan block in to check door swings and storage.
Do the car models have every view?
The complete-view cars do: each sheet holds the plan and the elevations together, and the Audi 80 Cabriolet (B4) has two sheets, top up and top down. Generic cars have a page with their own views, such as the passenger car in plan and front elevation.
Can I get these cars blocks as PNG or SVG?
Yes. Every block here also downloads as a PNG with a transparent background, an SVG vector and a PDF, from its own page, next to the DWG and DXF.
