Trucks & vans CAD blocks
Truck and van CAD blocks for loading areas, site access and street elevations: a cargo van and a Volkswagen Crafter van, the classic Volkswagen T3 Vanagon, an ambulance, a semi-truck tractor, a truck 34′-11¾″ (10,662 mm) long in plan and a hook lift truck in side elevation.
Every one downloads as a DWG or DXF in inches and millimeters, and as a PDF, PNG or SVG.
Designing, not drafting? These vehicles blocks also come as SVG vectors, PNG files with a transparent background and print-ready PDFs.

Frequently asked questions
How high is a truck loading dock?
Most truck docks are 48–52″ (1219–1321 mm) high, matching the bed height of box trucks and trailers; vans need a lower dock or a leveler. Use the truck plan and the hook lift truck elevation to check apron length and overhead clearance.
How much clearance do trucks need under a canopy?
Where a semi-truck may pass, plan for 13′-6″ to 14′ (4115–4267 mm), the legal height limit in most states; box trucks and vans need less. The Volkswagen Crafter van side elevation is 95⅞″ (2434 mm) high, a useful check for parking garage entries.
Is there an ambulance block for hospital entrances?
Yes. The ambulance front elevation is 67″ × 81¾″ (1702 × 2077 mm), useful for sizing an emergency entrance canopy or a drive-through bay. Pair it with the cargo van plan, 16′-6½″ (5041 mm) long, for the footprint of a similar van-based vehicle.
How long is a tractor-trailer?
The semi-truck tractor plan is 23′-8″ × 92″ (7213 × 2337 mm) on its own. With a 53′ (16.2 m) trailer, the usual maximum in most states, a tractor-trailer runs roughly 70–75′ (21–23 m), which is the length a loading yard, its gates and the dock apron have to handle.
Can I get these trucks & vans blocks as PNG or SVG?
Yes. Every block here also downloads as a PNG with a transparent background, an SVG vector and a PDF, from its own page, next to the DWG and DXF.
