People CAD blocks
People CAD blocks for scale in elevations, sections and presentation plans: standing and walking figures, couples and families, seated people, athletes and skaters, and figures in use, such as a man charging an electric car or an elderly man with a cane at a recycling bin. Each one is drawn at real height and shown beside the 6 ft reference figure, so the scale of a space reads at a glance.
Every one downloads as a DWG or DXF in inches and millimeters, and as a PDF, PNG or SVG.
Designing, not drafting? These people blocks also come as SVG vectors, PNG files with a transparent background and print-ready PDFs.

About people CAD blocks
The standing figures include a plain man standing in front and side view, a human outline, office workers carrying folders and documents, and street scenes from the Urban people set, such as a woman with a pet carrier. Seated people come in plan and elevation, and a person seen from above, 22⅜″ × 14⅛″ (569 × 359 mm), fills in plan views. The sports figures are the largest group: CrossFit and calisthenics silhouettes, skaters and a soccer player. Children are in the Children playing pack.
Use figures with a purpose. In a section, one person on each floor shows the floor-to-ceiling height better than a dimension string; in an elevation, a figure at the entrance tells the client how tall the door really is. Keep them off the details you need to read, and avoid crowding: two or three figures carry the scale. For reference, CDC data put the average US man at about 5′-9″ (175 cm) and woman at about 5′-3½″ (161 cm). Because the blocks are drawn 1:1, no rescaling is needed when you mix them with furniture or vehicles. Mixing ages, clothing and activities also makes a presentation feel like a real neighborhood rather than a catalog of identical mannequins.
Each block downloads as a DWG and a DXF in inches and millimeters. For presentation boards, client decks or a quick sketch over a photo, the same drawing also comes as a PDF, a PNG with a transparent background and an SVG vector.
Frequently asked questions
What height should a scale figure be in an elevation?
Close to the real average: about 5′-9″ (175 cm) for US men and 5′-3½″ (161 cm) for women. The blocks keep their own real heights, such as the woman in a winter jacket at 66¼″ (1683 mm), so insert them at scale 1 and they match the drawing without guesswork.
Is there a person block for plan views?
Yes. The person block is a figure seen from above, 22⅜″ × 14⅛″ (569 × 359 mm), and the seated man and seated woman come in plan too. They show circulation and seating density in furniture plans better than a circle or a cross, especially in restaurants and waiting rooms.
Where are the children figures?
Children are in the Children playing pack, a set of silhouettes of kids running, jumping and posing that you download one by one from the pack page. Among the people blocks, the father lifting a child and the man and child show adults with kids for family housing and park scenes.
Which figures help check ceiling heights in a gym?
The overhead exercise silhouettes: an overhead kettlebell swing reaches 78¾″ (2001 mm) and a dead hang 81″ (2058 mm). Set them on the floor line in a section to see whether beams, rigs and lights leave enough room above the athletes.
Which people blocks show everyday activities?
A woman walking a dog, a couple talking, a businessman holding a folder, a man parking a bicycle at a rack and an elderly couple on a bench, among others. Activity figures tell a story about how a plaza, lobby or sidewalk will be used, which a standing figure cannot.
Can I get these people blocks as PNG or SVG?
Yes. Every block here also downloads as a PNG with a transparent background, an SVG vector and a PDF, from its own page, next to the DWG and DXF.
