Medical CAD blocks
Medical CAD blocks for hospital and clinic plans: patient beds, stretchers and gurneys, operating tables and lights, anesthesia and dialysis machines, monitors, trolleys and overbed tables, plus complete room layouts such as an operating room layout and an intensive care unit (ICU) area layout. Nearly all are plan views at real size.
Every one downloads as a DWG or DXF in inches and millimeters, and as a PDF, PNG or SVG.
Designing, not drafting? These professional blocks also come as SVG vectors, PNG files with a transparent background and print-ready PDFs.

Frequently asked questions
How much space should I leave around a hospital bed?
A working rule is about 3′ (914 mm) of clear floor on both sides and at the foot of the bed, more in intensive care and operating rooms. The ICU bed is 85⅞″ (2180 mm) long and the electric hospital bed 91⅞″ (2335 mm), so check bays against the actual model.
Are there full room layouts or only equipment?
Both. Besides single pieces, there is an operating room layout at 17′-2½″ × 16′-1⅛″ (5246 × 4906 mm), an operating room with specialized equipment, an intensive care unit (ICU) area layout and a medical equipment workspace layout, useful as starting points for room data sheets.
Do the medical blocks include elevations?
A few: the CT scanner, 14′-8½″ (4483 mm) long, the hospital stretcher, the surgical chair and the gynecology exam chair come in side elevation. Everything else is in plan, which is where medical planning is done.
How wide must a hospital corridor be for beds?
Corridors where patients are moved in beds in a Group I-2 hospital need at least 96″ (2438 mm) of clear width under the IBC. The patient gurney plan, 118¼″ (3004 mm) long, shows why: two beds or gurneys have to pass and turn into rooms.
Can I get these medical blocks as PNG or SVG?
Yes. Every block here also downloads as a PNG with a transparent background, an SVG vector and a PDF, from its own page, next to the DWG and DXF.
