Description

3 views of the bidet, each drawn at real size: a plan view at 14⅛″ × 21¼″ (360 × 540 mm), a front elevation at 14⅝″ wide and 15½″ high (371 × 395 mm) and a side elevation at 22⅜″ deep and 15″ high (568 × 380 mm).

Each view downloads on its own, as an inch DWG and a millimeter DWG for AutoCAD 2000 and later, with the base point at 0,0.

Under the IRC, keep 15″ (381 mm) from the centerline to any wall and 21″ (533 mm) clear in front; ADA toilets sit 16–18″ (406–457 mm) from the side wall. The plan places it beside a person seen from above, so you can judge its footprint. There is also a 3D version of it in the 3D models section.

Working outside CAD? The same drawing also comes as a DXF for other CAD programs, a PDF for printing, a PNG with a transparent background for slides and mood boards and an SVG you can edit in Illustrator, Inkscape or Figma.

Common questions

How big is the bidet in each view?

The plan view measures 14⅛″ × 21¼″ (360 × 540 mm); the front elevation measures 14⅝″ wide and 15½″ high (371 × 395 mm); the side elevation measures 22⅜″ deep and 15″ high (568 × 380 mm). Each size is taken from the outer edges of that drawing.

Is each view in inches or millimeters?

Each view comes as two files: one in inches (INSUNITS 1) and one in millimeters (INSUNITS 4), named after the view, such as cadgrid-bidet-plan_in.dwg and cadgrid-bidet-plan_mm.dwg. Insert the one that matches your drawing at scale 1.

How much space does a toilet or bidet need?

At least 15″ (381 mm) from its centerline to a side wall or another fixture and 21″ (533 mm) of clear floor in front (IRC R307). An ADA-accessible toilet sits 16–18″ (406–457 mm) from the side wall.

Can I use this bidet outside AutoCAD?

Yes. Use the DXF in other CAD programs, the PNG with its transparent background in slides, documents and mood boards, the SVG to edit it in Illustrator, Inkscape or Figma, and the PDF to print it or send it to someone without CAD.
